A kombucha timer, open source, on both stores
I had been brewing kombucha for about two years when the tracking system fell apart. Remembering start dates worked for one brew. A repeating calendar event worked until a batch started a day late and everything drifted.
KombuTime does that one job: first and second fermentation on a schedule, a notification when it is time to bottle or drink, optional flavor and tea notes. Home screen widgets show what is in progress. History, CSV/JSON export, and custom flavors are there if you want them, and skipped if you do not.
It is free. No ads, no in-app purchases. Brew data stays on the device — no account, no server, no network required. The app is English, Dutch, and German.
The project is Kotlin Multiplatform with Compose Multiplatform for Android and iOS. The code is at github.com/Paoapps/KombuTime. It is on the App Store and Google Play.
That is the Paoapps loop in miniature: a problem on my own counter, a small app that ships on both stores, and the source left open.
